WHAT IS MICROBLADING?
Microblading, also known as micropigmentation, is a procedure categorized under permanent makeup. The procedure is done with a disposable hand tool made up of ultra-fine needles in the form of a blade. Each hair stroke is gently etched into the first two layers of the skin, (the epidermis, and the dermis) giving an incredibly natural & realistic look.
It is more superficial than traditional tattooing because the pigment isn’t placed as deep into the skin, therefore the pigment naturally sheds little by little as the epidermis sheds.

Hello Everyone, my name is Katy Gordon! Growing up I've always had a weird obsession with eyebrows and a natural artistic ability. This led me to receive 7 different licenses/certifications including tattoo, microblading, powder brows, faux freckles and more.
I tend to be a perfectionist in many ways which can be a blessing and a curse, but mostly a blessing when it comes to your brows. I love making women look and feel beautiful so that they can regain confidence and be happy. This is the most rewarding thing I can do. After working in a salon for many years, the word was spreading about my work and I opened my very own private suite in Wellington.

I take every appointment to heart from a consultation to the appointment to the touch up, I am here for you guys every step of the way. I want you to be comfortable, confident and excited about this process so please don't hesitate to reach out to me before booking.
